In recent years, much has been made of rare and valuable muscle cars being rebodied and brought back from the dead.   Depending on your perspective, it can range from being "ok with it", to considering it outright fraud when not disclosed.    Eventually, the discussion of cars with questionable histories comes down to lamenting how  "the hobby is not like the good old days", and "it's all about money now ".    Well I am here to tell you that although the practice has caught up with muscle cars, it is certainly nothing new.    In 1968,  Edgar Jurist wrote an editorial piece for Car Life magazine that rings true today.      After reading it,  I am sure you will agree, that "the more things change, the more they stay the same."
